Rivet Hosting Night of Stand-Up
and Community Entertainment
Comedy fans looking for a night of laughs and local talent can head to Rivet: Canteen & Assembly for a free Open Mic Comedy Night presented in partnership with Die Laughing Productions.
The event will take place on Monday, June 1, 2026, giving aspiring comedians and seasoned performers alike the opportunity to take the stage and entertain the crowd.
Hosted at Rivet: Canteen & Assembly in downtown Pottstown, the evening will feature a variety of stand-up acts in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Audience members can enjoy live comedy while supporting local performers and discovering new talent.
Admission is free, making it an affordable way to enjoy a night out in the community.
DBHS 3v3 Soccer Tournament
Draws Record Crowd
The Daniel Boone High School Boys Soccer Team celebrated another successful year of its 3v3 Summer Kickoff Soccer Tournament, drawing large crowds and competitive play to Birdsboro.
Organizers reported that the event welcomed 40 teams, more than 500 attendees, and featured a full evening of soccer, community spirit and family-friendly entertainment. Players competed in a variety of matches throughout the night, showcasing skill, teamwork and sportsmanship across multiple age divisions.
In addition to tournament action, participants enjoyed the popular Crossbar Challenge, with several competitors taking home prizes and bragging rights.
The program credited the event’s success to the support of local sponsors, dedicated volunteers and the efforts of current DBHS boys soccer players, alumni and coaches, who helped organize and operate the tournament.
Officials thanked the community for its continued support, noting that the annual fundraiser has become a popular summer tradition benefiting the Daniel Boone Boys Soccer program.
