Amity Blue Marlins Open
Summer Swim Registration

The Amity Blue Marlins Swim Team is now welcoming swimmers for the upcoming summer season, with registration officially open.
The program offers young athletes the opportunity to build skills, stay active and be part of a team environment, while also preparing for future sports seasons. Practices will be held Monday through Friday, with swim meets scheduled on Monday nights.
Registration fees are $145 for the first swimmer, with discounts available for additional family members. Participants must be members of the Amity AC Pool to join the team.
Organizers encourage families to sign up and take part in a summer focused on fitness, teamwork and fun.
Pop-Up Fundraiser at Island Pizza to
Support Local Animal Rescue

The Animal Rescue League of Berks County (ARL) is partnering with Island Pizza and Paisley & Company Bath Boutique & Fragrance Bar for a pop-up fundraiser event aimed at supporting local animals in need.
Set for next Sunday, the event will offer a mix of food, shopping and raffles, creating a fun, pet-friendly atmosphere for the community. A portion of proceeds will directly benefit ARL, including 25% of sales from Paisley & Company and select menu items from Island Pizza.
Attendees are encouraged to bring friends—and even their pets—to enjoy an afternoon that combines entertainment with giving back to a meaningful cause.
Boone FBLA Students Shine at Hershey Event

Students from Daniel Boone Area School District’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter recently showcased their skills at a regional event held in Hershey from April 12–15.
Throughout the competition, students participated in a range of activities, including objective testing and live presentations, demonstrating their knowledge, confidence and leadership abilities. In addition to competing, they attended workshops and collaborated with peers, gaining valuable insight and experience.
The trip also included time for students to unwind and connect, with visits to Hersheypark, Hershey Gardens and Hershey’s Chocolate World, creating a well-rounded experience.
School officials recognized the group for representing the district with professionalism and pride.
Christmas Show Offers Décor,
Workshops and More

The East Coast Christmas Show is set to debut as a festive, family-friendly event celebrating everything related to holiday decorating and Christmas traditions and will be held at the Philly Expo Center in Oaks PA.
Hosted by TransWorld and co-located with the East Coast Haunters Convention, the show is open to the public and welcomes home decorators, professionals and holiday enthusiasts alike. Attendees can explore a vibrant vendor floor featuring everything from traditional décor to advanced animated lighting displays.
In addition to shopping, the event will offer educational seminars, hands-on workshops and networking opportunities, giving participants the chance to learn new techniques and connect with others who share a passion for holiday decorating. Special events and tours will also be available for those looking to take their displays to the next level.
The show will run:
April 25 from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
April 26 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Organizers say the event is designed for everyone—from beginners looking to start decorating to experienced enthusiasts aiming to create standout holiday displays.
Celebrate Halloween Early at
East Coast Convention

The East Coast Haunters Convention is set to deliver a one-of-a-kind experience for Halloween fans with a weekend dedicated to all things spooky at the Philly Expo Center in Oaks PA.
Open to the public, the event welcomes haunters, actors, industry professionals and enthusiasts for an interactive celebration featuring a vendor show floor, costume contests, makeup competitions and the debut of the Haunt Olympics.
Attendees can also enjoy haunted house tours, networking events and themed evening gatherings, along with opportunities to meet creators and performers behind popular attractions.
The convention will take place over two days:
April 25 from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
April 26 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Organizers say the event offers something for everyone, bringing the spirit of Halloween to life in an unexpected spring setting.
