Men, You've Been Misinformed

Men's skin is about 25% thicker than women's, but thicker skin doesn't mean better aging. It means delayed collapse. For years, your skin looks resilient. Then collagen declines, and when it does, it drops hard: deeper wrinkles, heavier under-eye bags, more dark spots showing up all at once.

Most men were never taught to get ahead of this. Women were. And by the time the signs show up, you're playing catch-up.

Particle Face Cream was built precisely for this. One 6-in-1 formula engineered for men's skin — reduces eye bags, dark spots, and wrinkles, restores firmness, hydrates deeply, and revives dull tone. No complicated routine. Over 1,000,000 men already use it. Try it risk-free with a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Boone Runner Dominates with

Two First-Place Finishes

A standout performance from Daniel Boone’s Julia Leady made headlines at the Jeff Bradley Invitational Track Meet on April 11.

Leady captured first place in both the 1600-meter and 3200-meter races, setting new meet records in each event. Her time of 4:59.31 in the 1600m broke a record that had stood since 2016, while her 10:35.93 finish in the 3200m surpassed a mark set in 2015.

Both races also marked personal bests, as Leady continued to raise the bar by breaking her own school records in the process.

The performance solidifies her as one of the top distance runners in the region this season.

Duck Derby Scavenger Hunt

Begins in Boone Area

The Boone Area Library has officially kicked off its Duck Derby Scavenger Hunt, inviting the community to explore local businesses in Birdsboro and Douglassville.

Participants can search for hidden yellow ducks placed throughout participating locations. Those who find one will receive a free Duck Derby ticket and T-shirt, while also discovering local shops along the way.

Clue sheets are available to help guide the hunt, and updates will be shared weekly to track which ducks have been found. Organizers note that participation is limited to one duck per household.

The event encourages families and friends to get out, explore and enjoy a fun, community-focused activity.

Daniel Boone High School to Host

Mountain Bike Experience

A Mountain Bike Try-It Event is coming to Daniel Boone High School on Wednesday, April 22 from 6 to 7:30 p.m., offering students a chance to experience the sport in a fun and supportive setting.

Hosted in partnership with the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Cycling League, the free event is open to students entering grades 6 through 12 this fall. Participants will take part in games and skill-building activities led by certified coaches, with no prior mountain biking experience required.

Students are encouraged to bring their own bike and helmet, though equipment will be available to borrow if needed. A rain date is scheduled for April 23.

Organizers recommend registering in advance to streamline check-in and ensure all required waivers are completed.

Cherry Fair Returns to

Keim Homestead in Oley, PA

The Cherry Fair is set to return on Saturday, May 23, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Keim Homestead in Lobachsville, offering a full day of history, entertainment and family-friendly activities.

Hosted by the Oley Valley Heritage Association, this year’s event will celebrate America’s 250th anniversary with a variety of living history demonstrations. Visitors can experience colonial life through reenactments, traditional trades and hands-on exhibits.

Highlights include demonstrations of blacksmithing, weaving, wood turning, basket making and more, along with performances by local musicians and interactive activities like a hoedown and cake walk.

Guests will also have the opportunity to tour a historic 1753 home, view antique farm equipment and enjoy a selection of Pennsylvania Dutch food.

Organizers say the event offers a unique opportunity to step back in time while enjoying a fun and educational day for all ages.
