Amity AC Announces Summer
Youth Soccer Camp

Amity Athletic Club is inviting young athletes to build their skills this summer at its upcoming Youth Soccer Camp, held at the Daniel Boone High School turf fields.
The four-day camp will run from July 27 through July 30, with sessions scheduled each evening from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The program is open to players ages U5 through U12, offering a mix of skills training, drills and game play in a fun and supportive environment.
Participants will work alongside Amity coaches and players, as well as Daniel Boone High School varsity and junior varsity teams, focusing on fundamentals such as passing, formations and teamwork.
The cost is $80 per player, with registration open through July 19. Players who sign up by July 12 will receive a free camp T-shirt. Organizers note that indoor space will be available in case of inclement weather.
Awards will be presented at the end of camp for standout participants, and concessions will be available each night.
Cub Scout Pack 597 Hosts Bi-Annual Yard Sale

Cub Scout Pack 597 and St. Paul’s UCC are preparing for their Bi-Annual Community Yard Sale, scheduled for Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Douglassville.
The event will take place at 1979 Weavertown Road and will feature dozens of vendor spots, along with a bake sale, lemonade stand and family-friendly activities.
Community members can reserve a space to sell items, with spots priced at $8 for one space or $12 for two. Organizers say spaces are still available and encourage early sign-ups.

For those looking to declutter without selling, the group is also accepting gently used donations, including clothing, toys, books, household items and more. All proceeds from the event will support Cub Pack 597 and St. Paul’s Church.
Amity AC Pool Now Accepting New Members

The Amity AC Pool is welcoming new members for the upcoming season, offering families a place to relax and enjoy the summer months.
Memberships are now available, with organizers encouraging interested residents to reach out for additional details on joining.
The pool provides a community-centered environment for swimming, recreation and summer fun.
