Annamarie’s on Main Fundraiser for
Animal Rescue League April 2nd

A local restaurant is partnering with the Animal Rescue League of Berks County for a daylong fundraiser to support animal care services.
The event, “Dine Fur Pets,” will take place on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at Annamarie’s on Main in Birdsboro. The fundraiser will run during two time blocks: 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
During those hours, 15% of all in-house dining sales will be donated to the Animal Rescue League, helping fund programs that support animals in need.
Community members are encouraged to stop by for a meal and contribute to the cause through their participation.
GoggleWorks Expands Iron Pour
into Fire Arts Festival
The GoggleWorks Center for the Arts in Reading is expanding one of its signature events into a larger, immersive experience with the debut of the Iron Pour + Fire Arts Festival.
Scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 3 to 9 p.m., the event will feature the return of the popular iron pour demonstration, along with an expanded lineup of fire-based art activities and live demonstrations across the campus. The iron pour is expected to take place around sunset at approximately 7:30 p.m.
Attendees can explore a variety of live demonstrations, including glassblowing, metalwork, ceramics and blacksmithing, as well as participate in hands-on activities. The festival will also include music, food and interactive experiences throughout the evening.
Organizers say the event builds on the success of previous iron pour programs by creating a larger celebration of art, creativity and craftsmanship centered around fire and heat-based techniques.
Admission and parking are free, and the event is open to the public.
Local Comedians Unite for
Benefit Show in Pottstown

A comedy fundraiser is set to take place at SoulJoel’s at SunnyBrook in Pottstown to support a local individual, with all proceeds going directly to the cause.
The event will be held on Wednesday, April 1 at 8 p.m., with doors opening at 7:30 p.m. Organizers say 100% of ticket sales will be donated to support Kelly P.
The show will feature a lineup of comedians, including Dru Montana, James Moss, Rob Crews, Jake Mattera, Chris Wood, Ryan Foster, John Kensil, Ryan Shaner and Jon DelCollo.
Organizers note that all ticket sales are final and non-refundable.
