Vote for Daniel Boone Students in Manufacturing Contest

Students from Daniel Boone Area Middle School are participating in the “What’s So Cool About Manufacturing?” Student Video Contest, showcasing their recent experience exploring careers in the field.
The students’ video highlights a visit to Pladis in Reading, where they learned about the manufacturing process and the variety of career opportunities available in the region.
Community members are encouraged to support the students by voting in the contest. Voting is open from March 25 through March 27, and is available to students, families and the public.
Votes can be cast online through the contest website, with organizers hoping for strong community participation to help the Daniel Boone team succeed.
Comedy Show at Rivet Supports
Lung Transplant Program

A night of comedy and community support is coming to Rivet in Pottstown with the “Ring That Bell” Comedy Show, presented by Die Laughing, on Friday, March 27.
Doors will open at 6 p.m., with the show beginning at 7 p.m. The event will feature a lineup of comedians, headlined by Joshua Ryan, along with performances from Brody Martin, Christian Chomik, Curran Dougherty, Bill Miller and Daniel John. Hosting duties will be shared by Chelsea Keota and Mary Haggerty, with DJ Via also appearing.
Tickets are $30, and attendees must be 21 or older. Food and drinks will be available throughout the evening.
The event also supports a meaningful cause. Die Laughing, the nonprofit behind the show, raises awareness and funds for the Penn Medicine Lung Transplant Program.
Organizers say the event offers a mix of entertainment and philanthropy, giving attendees a chance to enjoy live comedy while supporting an important mission.
