BCIU Now Accepting Applications for
2026–2027 School Year

The Daniel Boone Area School District is encouraging families to apply for early childhood education programs through the Berks County Intermediate Unit (BCIU).
Applications are now being accepted for the 2026–2027 school year for both the Pre-K Counts and Head Start programs. These programs provide young children with access to early learning experiences designed to support academic and social development.
District officials say families interested in enrolling their children are encouraged to review program details and complete the application process to secure a spot.
Learn How to Grow Your Business
with AI at Local Workshop
A hands-on AI marketing workshop aimed at helping local business owners grow their customer base and increase revenue will be held on March 25, 2026, at Uno Pizzeria & Grill in Oaks.
The event, titled “More Customers. More Sales. More Revenue with AI,” is designed to provide entrepreneurs with practical strategies for using artificial intelligence in marketing and business growth.
Led by Drew Griffin, co-founder and developer at LoudAF.ai, the workshop will focus on actionable techniques rather than theory. Attendees will learn how to attract new customers, convert prospects into repeat buyers and increase customer spending using AI-driven tools.
Participants will also gain hands-on experience, leave with a personalized action plan, and explore tools that can be implemented immediately—no technical background required.
Organizers note that space is limited to 40 attendees, and advance registration is required.
