The Daniel Boone Area School District is recognizing several staff members for their outstanding contributions through its Sweet Impact Award program.

For February, the district honored Ashley Griffith, District Wellness Coordinator, and Bret Stamy, High School Business Teacher.

The March honoree is Erin Shutt, a fourth-grade teacher at the Intermediate Center.

The Sweet Impact Award highlights staff members who go above and beyond in their roles, making a positive difference for students and the school community.

District officials encourage families, students and community members to submit nominations to recognize deserving staff across all roles, including teachers, nurses, administrators, support staff, custodial teams and coaches.

The Daniel Boone Area School District is reminding students and families to prioritize safety as the use of e-bikes and scooters continues to increase in the community.

District officials are encouraging riders to review important safety guidelines before heading out, emphasizing the importance of wearing helmets, following traffic laws and staying alert while riding.

On school grounds, students are reminded to walk their bikes or scooters, avoid riding through parking lots or sidewalks and secure equipment at designated bike racks.

District leaders say practicing safe riding habits helps protect not only the rider but also others in the community.

Comedian Mike Feeney will return to the stage at SoulJoel’s at SunnyBrook in Pottstown on Saturday, March 21 at 7 p.m.

Doors will open 30 minutes prior to showtime at the venue, located at 50 Sunnybrook Road. Guests can take advantage of free parking, a full bar available throughout the evening, and food options at Gatsby’s Pub before or after the show.

Tickets are priced at $20 for general admission and $30 for preferred seating, which includes the 50 seats closest to the stage. Organizers note that all ticket sales are final and non-refundable.

Feeney, a New York City-based comedian, is known for his high-energy performances and relatable storytelling. He has appeared on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” “Last Call with Carson Daly,” and platforms including Barstool Sports, SiriusXM and Funny or Die.

His comedy has gained a massive online following, with more than 250 million views across social media platforms. His debut album, Rage Against The Routine, reached No. 1 on the iTunes Comedy Charts and No. 6 on the Billboard Charts.

Feeney has also released a self-directed comedy special, “A Night at the Comedy Cellar,” filmed across multiple rooms in the iconic New York venue. In addition to touring nationwide, he regularly performs at the Comedy Cellar in New York City and hosts the podcast “Co-Host Wanted.”

The Daniel Boone Optimist Club will host its 29th Annual Spring Craft Show, today Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Daniel Boone Middle School in Douglassville.

The event will feature more than 100 crafters offering a variety of quality handcrafted items, along with a raffle and refreshments for attendees. With free admission and free parking, the craft show provides a family-friendly shopping experience for the community.

The show will take place at 1845 Weavertown Road, and organizers expect a strong turnout for the annual event.
