Jerry Seinfeld Set to Perform

in Reading on April 10

Legendary comedian Jerry Seinfeld will bring his stand-up comedy tour to the Santander Performing Arts Center in Reading on April 10, 2026.

Doors will open at 6 p.m., with the show scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. at the downtown Reading venue.

Seinfeld first gained national recognition after his appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson” in 1981. Less than a decade later, he teamed up with fellow comedian Larry David to create the hit NBC sitcom “Seinfeld,” which ran for nine seasons and became one of the most successful and influential comedy series in television history. The show earned multiple Emmy Awards, Golden Globes and People’s Choice Awards, and has been widely ranked among the greatest television series ever produced.

In recent years, Seinfeld has continued to expand his work in comedy and entertainment. His Netflix specials “Jerry Before Seinfeld” and “23 Hours to Kill” both received Emmy nominations, and his popular series “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” gained widespread acclaim.

Beyond television, Seinfeld has written and produced films including “Comedian” and “Bee Movie,” directed and produced the Broadway hit “Colin Quinn: Long Story Short,” and authored several best-selling books, including Is This Anything? and Seinlanguage.

Most recently, he starred in the Emmy-nominated comedy film “Unfrosted,” which he also directed, co-wrote and produced.

Seinfeld continues to perform stand-up comedy nationally and internationally, bringing his signature observational humor to audiences around the world.

Exeter Township Emergency Center

Plans Require Revisions

Plans for a proposed emergency services center in Exeter Township are moving forward, but township officials say revisions are needed before the project can proceed.

The proposed facility is intended to support emergency responders and improve public safety services in the area. However, during recent discussions, township leaders and planners indicated that elements of the current proposal require changes to better meet local requirements and expectations.

Officials are continuing to review the plans and work with developers to address concerns, which may include design adjustments, site considerations and overall project details. The goal is to ensure the final plan aligns with township standards and effectively serves the community’s emergency response needs.

The project remains under consideration, with further updates expected as revisions are made and reviewed.
