Scholarship Opportunity for

Boone Seniors Pursuing Education

The Daniel Boone Education Association (DBEA) is offering a $1,000 scholarship to a Daniel Boone Area High School senior graduating in 2026 who plans to pursue a career in education.

To be eligible, applicants must be accepted to a college to study education, demonstrate involvement in extracurricular activities, and have the goal of becoming a teacher.

Students interested in applying can submit their application online by scanning the QR code on the scholarship flyer or by contacting their school counselor for additional information.

The application deadline is April 3, 2026.

Boone Students Invited to Join

High School Cheer Team

Students interested in cheering for Daniel Boone High School now have an opportunity to join the DBHS Cheer Team.

The program is inviting current Daniel Boone students in grades 8 through 11 to sign up to be part of the team. Participants will have the chance to build school spirit, represent the school at events and be part of a supportive team environment.

Students who wish to participate are asked to complete the online registration form, after which additional information about the program and next steps will be shared.

Fork & Ale Hiring for

Spring and Summer Season

Fork & Ale in Douglassville is preparing for the upcoming spring and summer season and is currently hiring for multiple positions as it gets ready to reopen its outdoor patio and bar.

The restaurant is seeking team members for a variety of roles, including servers, bartenders, food runners, dishwashers and line cooks.

Management says the hiring push comes as the restaurant looks forward to welcoming guests back to its outdoor patio and bar, which is expected to be a popular spot during the warmer months.
