GRCA’s 113th Annual Dinner

The Greater Reading Chamber Alliance is preparing for a milestone event as it hosts its 113th Annual Dinner, bringing together the regional business community for an evening of inspiration and celebration.
This year’s keynote speaker will be former NASA astronaut Mike Massimino, who will share insights in a presentation focused on preparing for the future and embracing change. His address will highlight the importance of adaptability in an ever-evolving world.
The Annual Dinner will also shine a spotlight on outstanding local companies through the Business Excellence Awards in Category 1 and Category 2, recognizing achievements across the Greater Reading business landscape.
More than 700 business leaders and professionals are expected to attend, with opportunities to connect during a cocktail hour and take advantage of enhanced photo experiences. Advanced registration for the event closes April 2.
Erin Jackson to Make SoulJoel’s
Debut in Pottstown
SoulJoel’s will welcome comedian Erin Jackson to its stage for her debut performance on Friday, February 27. The show will be held at 50 SunnyBrook Road in Pottstown, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. and the performance beginning at 7 p.m.
Guests can take advantage of free on-site parking, as well as a full bar available before, during, and after the show. Food will also be offered inside Gatsby’s Pub for those looking to dine before or after the performance.
Tickets are priced at $20 for general admission, while preferred seating — limited to the 50 seats closest to the stage — is available for $30. Organizers note that all ticket purchases are final and non-refundable.
Jackson is widely recognized as one of New York City’s fastest-rising comedians. She made her Netflix debut on Season 2 of Tiffany Haddish Presents: They Ready and is currently a writer for the hit Netflix series The Upshaws. Her television appearances include Late Night with Seth Meyers, CONAN, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Last Comic Standing, and This Week at the Comedy Cellar, among others.
In addition to her stand-up success, Jackson co-hosted three seasons of the ASPiRE network’s panel talk series Exhale. Her comedy album Grudgery debuted at No. 1 on the iTunes comedy charts. A graduate of Howard University, she is also known as a dedicated Philadelphia Eagles fan.
Viral Comedy Star John Crist Brings Tour to Santander Performing Arts Center
John Crist continues to cement his place as one of the fastest-rising comedians in the country, earning more than one billion video views, building a social media following of nearly eight million fans, and consistently ranking among Pollstar’s Top 10 Global Touring Comedians. His 2025 “Jokes For Humans” tour has sold out the majority of its dates, prompting the launch of a fall extension that kicked off at Las Vegas’ Encore Theater and includes stops in cities such as Austin, Louisville and Cleveland.
Crist will bring his latest tour to the Santander Performing Arts Center on February 27, 2026. Doors open at 6:00 p.m., and the show begins at 7:00 p.m.
His newest comedy special, John Crist: Emotional Support, released February 18, showcases his trademark clean humor and sharp cultural observations. Filmed near his hometown of Lilburn, Georgia, the special explores topics including growing up Christian in the 1990s, managing lively family group texts, and navigating neighborhood social media debates. Within three weeks of release, the special surpassed 2.1 million full-length views, while related clips generated more than 20 million views across social platforms.
The special follows a record-setting touring year in 2024 and builds on the success of his 2023 release, Would Like To Release A Statement, which amassed more than 4.2 million YouTube views and more than 200 million views across social clips. His 2022 independently released special, What Are We Doing?, surpassed 100 million views and is now available for streaming on Hulu.
In addition to his stand-up career, Crist hosts the Nashville-based “Net Positive Podcast,” which regularly charts on Spotify and Apple’s top podcast rankings and features guests from across comedy, music, sports and media. He recently made his late-night debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and has appeared on numerous national television and digital platforms.
