Dual Enrollment Program Helps Students Earn College Degrees Before Graduation
A new video spotlight is highlighting the impact of the Dual Enrollment program available to students at the high school.
In the feature, Principal Mr. Sborz and senior Brianna Bodolus explain how the program allows students to earn college credits while still completing their high school education. The initiative, offered in partnership with Reading Area Community College, gives students an opportunity to experience college-level coursework and build momentum toward their future goals.
Bodolus is set to graduate with her associate degree before receiving her high school diploma, underscoring the academic and financial advantages of the program. By participating in Dual Enrollment, students can earn transferable credits, reduce future tuition costs, and gain confidence navigating the expectations of higher education.
School officials say the program not only accelerates academic progress but also provides valuable preparation for life after graduation. The Berks Business Education Coalition recently highlighted the pathway, recognizing its role in expanding opportunities for local students.
