SoulJoel’s Live Comedy Club will host Tin Foil Hat Comedy featuring Sam Tripoli and Eddie Bravo on Saturday, Feb. 21 at 7 p.m. The show will take place at the venue’s Sunnybrook Road location in Pottstown, with doors opening 30 minutes prior to showtime.

Tickets are priced at $25 for general admission and $35 for preferred seating, which includes the 75 seats closest to the stage. All ticket purchases are final and non-refundable. The venue does not accept tickets purchased through third-party sellers.

Guests attending the show can enjoy food before and after the performance at Gatsby’s Pub, located inside SoulJoel’s. A full bar will also be available before, during, and after the event.

Tin Foil Hat Comedy combines stand-up humor with freewheeling discussions that explore unconventional ideas and cultural commentary. Tripoli, a veteran stand-up comedian and longtime Comedy Store performer, is also known for hosting the popular Tin Foil Hat Podcast, where he has built a devoted following through spirited conversations that challenge mainstream narratives.

Joining him is Eddie Bravo, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt and founder of the 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu system. Bravo is widely recognized for his appearances on major podcasts and for his interest in alternative theories and independent thought. Together, the duo delivers an energetic and interactive live show designed to keep audiences laughing while encouraging lively discussion.

Steel River Playhouse is inviting performers of all ages to audition for its upcoming production of Freaky Friday: A New Musical, a lively and heartfelt stage adaptation of the beloved story about a mother and daughter who magically swap bodies and gain new perspectives on each other’s lives.

Initial auditions will take place on Sunday, March 8, from 5 to 8 p.m., and Monday, March 9, from 6 to 9 p.m. Performers who are unable to attend in person may submit a video audition by 6 p.m. on March 8. Those auditioning are asked to prepare a one- to two-minute monologue along with 32 bars of a song, and must bring sheet music for accompaniment.

Callbacks are scheduled for Thursday, March 12, from 6 to 9:30 p.m.

The production will run from May 29 through June 14, 2026, at Steel River Playhouse. The creative team includes director Wendy Mirto, music director Kate Nice, and choreographer Brianna Beitler.

Featuring a mix of comedic moments and touching family themes, the show offers a variety of roles for both teen and adult performers. Those interested in auditioning can sign up online through the theater’s registration link.

The Reading Fightin Phils are bringing back a fan-favorite tradition this summer with their 23rd Annual Morning Game on Tuesday, August 25. For the special event, the team will once again take the field under an alternate identity, suiting up as the Reading Iced Coffees in a nod to the popular morning beverage.

The early game promises a lively atmosphere filled with baseball and added entertainment, making it a unique outing for fans looking to enjoy America’s pastime before lunchtime.

As part of the promotion, the first 2,000 adults through the gates will receive an exclusive Reading Iced Coffees hat, giving fans a collectible keepsake to mark the occasion.

SoulJoel’s is bringing an evening of line dancing to the historic SunnyBrook Ballroom, offering guests plenty of room to move inside the venue’s expansive 14,000-square-foot space.

The event will feature music and instruction from DJ Dan, an experienced DJ with more than 20 years behind the turntables and over four years specializing in line dancing. His background includes appearances at popular venues across Pennsylvania and New Jersey, including Rock N Rebel, Prospectors Dance Venue, and large-scale events at the Camden Waterfront Arena.

Beginner lessons will be held from 6:30 to 7 p.m., giving newcomers a chance to learn the basics before the dance floor opens for general dancing from 7 to 10:30 p.m.

A full bar will be available on site, and food can be purchased from Gatsby’s Pub from 4 to 8:30 p.m. Outside food and beverages are not permitted, though bottled water will be available for purchase at $1. Free parking is offered for attendees.
