Daniel Boone Baseball Clinic

Families in the Daniel Boone Area School District are encouraged to register soon for the upcoming Daniel Boone Baseball Clinic, as the sign-up deadline is Sunday, February 15. The clinic will take place on Saturday, February 28, offering young athletes a full day of instruction and on-field activities.

Open to students in kindergarten through eighth grade, the clinic focuses on developing baseball fundamentals while creating an enjoyable and supportive environment for players of all skill levels. The cost to participate is $50 per player.

Parents interested in registering their child should email Coach Kolbie Reeser at [email protected] and include the player’s name, grade, and T-shirt size. Organizers are looking forward to a fun-filled day dedicated to building skills and school spirit on the field.

Keystone Villa to Host Fourth Annual Community Health Fair Feb 27th

Keystone Villa at Douglassville will host its Fourth Annual Community Health Fair on Friday, Feb. 27, from noon to 3 p.m., welcoming residents and community members for an afternoon focused on health and wellness.

The event will feature local health and wellness vendors, educational seminars, health screenings, and opportunities to connect with area providers. Attendees can also enjoy a variety of snacks, participate in activities designed to promote overall well-being, and enter to win door prizes and giveaways.

New this year, the Reading Hospital Foundation is sponsoring a mobile mammography coach to provide breast cancer screenings. The mobile unit will be available by appointment from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Individuals interested in scheduling a screening should call Dawn at 610-914-8097.

Organizers say the event offers a convenient and engaging way for community members to access important health information and services in one location.
