Freshmen swimmers Emily Gaskins and Avery Peterson turned in impressive performances at the BCIAA Swimming Championships, delivering strong results across two days of competition.

On the first day of the meet, both athletes competed in the 100 butterfly. Gaskins finished just off the podium with a fourth-place result, while Peterson earned an eighth-place finish in a highly competitive field.

Day two showcased their endurance in the 500 freestyle. Gaskins followed up with another top-five performance, placing fifth, while Peterson continued her solid meet with a seventh-place finish.

Across both days, the young swimmers demonstrated composure, determination, and promise, making their championship appearances a notable success and highlighting a bright future for the program.

Boone Bowling Sweeps Division 2 as

Boys and Girls Claim Titles

The Boone boys bowling team delivered a dominant performance last week, sweeping Wyomissing 3–0 to secure the Berks Division 2 championship. The decisive win capped off a strong season and confirmed the team’s place at the top of the division standings.

The success didn’t stop there. Boone’s girls bowling team also claimed first place in Berks Division 2, finishing league play with an impressive 19–11 record and posting a 24–12 overall mark for the season. Their consistency and depth throughout the year proved key in earning the division title.

With both programs capturing Division 2 championships, Boone bowling enjoyed a standout season, showcasing talent, teamwork, and competitive excellence across the board.
