Kindergarten Registration for 2026–2027 School Year Opens March 1

Kindergarten registration for the 2026–2027 school year will open March 1, and families are encouraged to begin preparing required documents now. Children must be five years old by September 1, 2026, to be eligible for enrollment.

Parents and guardians will need to provide proof of age, such as a birth certificate or passport, along with current immunization records. School nurses will review all submissions and follow up with families if any additional vaccinations are required before the school year begins. Proof of residency will also be necessary, with acceptable documents including items such as a lease or deed, utility bill, property tax bill, or valid identification showing a local address.

School officials say they are looking forward to welcoming the next group of students, known as the Class of 2039, as they begin their educational journey.

Comedian Tyler Fischer Set for

Four Shows at SoulJoel’s

Stand-up comedian Tyler Fischer is returning to SoulJoel’s in Pottstown for a two-night run of live performances on Friday, February 13, and Saturday, February 14. Showtimes are set for 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. each night, with doors opening 30 minutes before showtime.

Tickets range from $20 for general admission to $30 for preferred seating, which includes the 75 seats closest to the stage. All performances will take place at SoulJoel’s Comedy Club, located at 50 Sunnybrook Road. Guests can enjoy food before and after the shows at the on-site restaurant, Gatsby’s Pub, with drinks available throughout the evening.

Fischer has built a national following as a stand-up comic, actor, and viral content creator, earning appearances on major platforms such as popular podcasts, late-night television, and nationally recognized comedy stages. Known for his sharp cultural commentary and wide appeal, he regularly performs at premier comedy clubs in New York City and Austin and continues to tour across the country.

Daniel Boone Drama Club Serves Up

Comedy and Chaos in Murder Mystery

The Daniel Boone High School Drama Club is inviting the community to an evening of mystery, comedy, and theatrical fun with a one-act murder mystery performance set for Friday, February 13.

The production, Too Many Detectives at the Murder Mansion, brings together some of the world’s most recognizable fictional sleuths for a night of chaos and laughs. When characters inspired by Batman, Nancy Drew, the Scooby-Doo gang, Agatha Christie, and Sherlock Holmes all find themselves trapped inside the same mansion, the result is a fast-paced and comedic whodunit filled with unexpected twists.

The show will take place in the Daniel Boone High School cafeteria, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. and the performance beginning at 7 p.m. Admission is $5 cash at the door, and concessions will be available for purchase.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Daniel Boone Theatre Society, helping to support student performers and future drama club productions. The one-night-only performance offers audiences a chance to enjoy student talent while supporting the school’s arts program.
